Text Box: LW125 “Susan Renee - My Beautiful Gray”, 13” Primitive Doll Pattern -“Gray Is Beautiful” Series “Susan Renee” is a big snob. Can’t you tell that already? She wants to be called “Susan Renee” and not just “Susan.” Whoopee! She has a mass of straight gray hair all over her head which she has fastened into a bun on the back of her head and adorned with a ribbon tied in a bow. She is a free standing doll with a cloth body and embroidered face, light blue buttons for eyes, lace trimmed slip, lace trimmed dress with a ruffle on the bottom and a lace trimmed center strip adorned with 5 large buttons, large wired ribbon bow which adorns the lower part of her dress, and an old tattered lace trimmed hanker-chief for a shawl. He has brown button eyes, an outline embroidered face, rust watercolor penciled nose with drawn diagonal lines, and blushed cheeks with white spot highlights. He has reddish brown mohair doll hair on the very top of his head with the lower back and sides left bald. He is wearing his favorite blue pants which are fringed and gathered at the neck and ankles. Her head is cloth and her wooden body is cloth covered and stuffed to account for her "chubby" appearance. Her face is embroidered and watercolor penciled. She has light blue button eyes, an outline embroidered face, red watercolor penciled nose with drawn diagonal lines, and blushed cheeks with white spot highlights. Her lips are embroidered and painted red. She has raggedy red braided and curly mohair doll hair along the side seams of her head with the lower back and sides left bald. She is wearing her favorite purple print dress which is fringed and gathered at the neck and wrists and is tied at the waist with a floss bow. Her coordinating bloomers are fringed and gathered at the waist and ankles.

Text Box: LW253 “Frumpy, Grumpy Fran—The Old Maid Gibson Primitive”, 16” Doll –Primitive Doll Pattern - Primitive Series   "Frumpy, Grumpy Fran" is a cloth bodied doll with cross tied boot legs and an embroidered face. She has black satin stitched pupils, white stain stitched eyes, and brown watercolor penciled eyelids. Her eyelashes and eyebrows are embroidered. Her mouth is embroidered and her lips are satin stitched red. Her nose is embroidered and raised and shaded. Her cheeks are blushed. She is wearing fringed bloomers. Her dress has a two layer lace trimmed bodice front and lace trimmed sleeves. She has a wide fabric ruffle on the bottom of her dress that has two layers of lace trim and one layer of another fabric ruffle. A ribbon is tied around her waist. Her dress is gathered at the neck edge and lace trimmed. Fran has a full head of multi-colored mohair yarn that is fashioned in a Gibson Girl style. Cloth hair bows are added to the left and right hand sides of her head to accent her hair style. Fran is coffee stained throughout.

She is a free standing doll with a cloth body, embroidered face with glasses, frayed house dress with lace collar, and frayed apron with bib and ties. “Sweet Julianna” is coffee stained throughout. She’s a little on the shy side until you get her to smile. Then, look out! “Jael” has flaming red hair that sticks straight out of the sides and top of her head.
