She’s anxious to meet new friends as she misses her old friends from England. She has a cloth body with an embroidered face and thick head of curly raggedy red hair with two bows on the top of her head. She is wearing a lace trimmed dress with full length lace panel insert, 3/4 length felt vest, lace trimmed bloomers, and black boots and ties. Text Box: LW137 “Andy - Be”, 16” Colonial Boy Doll Pattern “Andy - Be” loves an adventure and loves meeting new people. He was raring to go and practically off the ship before it had docked in New England. He has a cloth body with an embroidered face and has dark raggedy red straight hair sticking out of the top of his head. He is wearing a striped suit with a lined jacket with tie belt, cuffed pantaloons, shirt, bowtie and black boot with ties. Text Box: LW133“Beatrice - Maid For All Seasons”, 15” Colonial Doll Pattern - Colonial Series “Beatrice - Maid For All Seasons” is a proper maid and knows her place. She is very organized and keeps the household running smoothly. Don’t cross her, however. She knows how to get even. She has a mass of dark burgundy curly hair all over the top of her head. She has a cloth body with an embroidered face, lace trimmed bloomers, lace trimmed dress adorned with 3 tiny buttons, and lace trimmed apron with bib. Alice and Denis know not to cross her. If they do she hides all the mirrors in the house. Text Box: LW126 “Helena”, 12” Colonial Doll Pattern -“Gray Is Beautiful” Series “Helena” is a tough old bird and can handle anything that is thrown at her. There is nothing in life she hasn’t seen or done. “Helena” is a PROUD member of the “Gray Is Beautiful!” Club. She has beautiful whitish gray hair underneath her straw bonnet. She is a free-standing cloth doll with an embroidered face, lace trimmed dress with lace insert and floral ribbon decoration, lace trimmed slip, and lace shawl. Her bonnet had velvet ribbon ties, velvet ribbon band, and a floral ribbon decoration. Text Box: LW134 “Jacob”, 16” Colonial Boy Doll Pattern -Colonial Series “Jacob” was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and very much expects everything to be given to him on a silver platter. He has a mass of dark brown hair along the sides and top of his head. He has a cloth body with an embroidered face, black beads for eyes, shirt underneath his velvet jacket, lace collared velvet jacket with large buttons, velvet pantaloons with cuffs and black boots with ties. He has been spoiled rotten since birth and expects you to spoil him to. Text Box: LW135 “Mercy”, 16” Colonial Girl Doll Pattern -Colonial Series “Mercy” was also born with a silver spoon in her mouth but takes after her mother and not her brother, Jacob. She is more interested in others than herself. She thinks her brother Jacob should be more concerned about humanitarian efforts than his own egotistical concerns. She has a mass of dark brown curly hair all over her head with a bow in the back. She has a cloth body with an embroidered face, black beads for eyes, lace trimmed bloomers, lace trimmed velvet dress adorned with 3 large buttons, lace trimmed apron, and black boots with ties. Her mission in life is to help others. Text Box: LW132 “Denis Loves His Big Eyes”, 16” Colonial Boy Doll Pattern -Colonial Series “Denis Loves His Bog Eyes” isn’t at all proper like his twin sister, Alice. He might dress properly but he’s a rascal and the girls just love to run their fingers through his full head of curly burgundy hair. He also spends a lot of time in front of the mirror just looking at his big, beautiful eyes. He has a mass of thick, dark burgundy curly hair on the top and sides of his head. He has a cloth body with an embroidered face, shirt with collar, a double-breasted lined jacket with 6 buttons, cuff sleeves and matching cuffed pantaloons, and black boots with ties. He’s just a charmer. Text Box: LW131“Alice Loves Her Big Eyes”, 16” Colonial Girl Doll Pattern -Colonial Series “Alice Loves Her Big Eyes” is the epitome of a proper, colonial girl. She has manners and believes in being friendly and courteous at all times. Her one slight flaw is that she can’t stop looking at herself in the mirror. She’s just in love with her big, beautiful eyes. Both she and her twin brother, Denis, inherited their good looks from their mother. Alice has a mass of thick, dark burgundy curly hair all over her head with two bows on the top of her head. She has a cloth body with an embroidered face, lace trimmed slip, lace trimmed bloomers, lace trimmed dress with a lace trimmed insert adorned with a floral ribbon, and high waist dress band that ties in back in a bow and black boots with ties. She always has a mirror handy.
